Police have seized over 6 kg Ganja in Kanakanagar of Bengaluru

Bengaluru: In a recent operation, the Bengaluru police have seized a significant quantity of Ganja in Kanakanagar area. The police officials have confiscated over 6 kg of the illegal substance and registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

The NDPS Act of 1985 prohibits the production, sale, and transportation of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Possession of such drugs is also a punishable offense under the act. The police have registered a case against the accused under Section 20(b)(ii) of the NDPS Act.
