
Haridwar held an important meeting regarding the PM Swanidhi scheme on Tuesday at the Collectorate Auditorium, under the guidance of Additional District Magistrate (Administration), Mr. PL Shah. Lead Bank Manager, Mr. Sanjay Sant, provided a detailed report on the progress made so far by various banks under the scheme. The Additional District Magistrate (Administration) instructed the officers to dispose of the pending cases of those who have applied under this scheme as soon as possible. Furthermore, it was emphasized that beneficiaries must receive their entitled benefits, and in case of any issues, they should be informed of the reason so that they can rectify the gaps in their application.
The scheme is of utmost importance and continuously monitored by the Prime Minister, so the banks must demonstrate their best performance to achieve the set target on time. Mr. PL Shah expressed his concern regarding the slow progress made by some banks in providing benefits under this scheme. As a result, such banks will be held accountable, and immediate rectification measures will be taken.

Kamil, EO Kaliyar Ms. Gauhar Hayat, EO Bhagwanpur Mr. Naushad Ansari, EO Landhaura Mr. Surendra Pal, EO Imlikhenda Mr. Adesh Kumar, Nagar Panchayat Dhandhera Mr. Sanjay Rawat, and concerned officials from the State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, U.B.I, UCO Bank, U.G.B Bank, I.O.B, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, National Bank, Central Bank, IDBI, Utkarsh Bank, Ujjwal Bank, and Post Payment Bank.
