
Dehradun: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) held a meeting in Panipat, Haryana on Tuesday. Several changes have also been made in the work area of several officials in the meeting.
Who is Dr. Shailendra Singh?
Dr. Shailendra Singh hails from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and has completed his M.Tech from IIT Roorkee. He also holds a Ph.D. Prior to his appointment as the Prant Pracharak of Uttarakhand, he has served as a Pracharak in Jaipur, Nagpur, and Dehradun.
The Meeting in Panipat
The meeting held in Panipat, Haryana was attended by senior RSS leaders who came from various parts of the country. The meeting was primarily called to discuss the appointment of the new Prant Pracharak of Uttarakhand. Dr. Shailendra Singh’s name was suggested, and it was accepted unanimously.
The Role of Prant Pracharak
The Prant Pracharak is a senior post in the RSS hierarchy. He is responsible for coordinating the activities of the RSS in a particular state. The role of the Prant Pracharak is to propagate the ideals and principles of the RSS and to guide the Sangh workers in the state.
Chandrashekhar Appointed as Co-Pracharak
Along with Dr. Shailendra Singh, Chandrashekhar has also been appointed as a co-pracharak. Chandrashekhar hails from Pauri, Uttarakhand, and has been associated with the RSS for a long time. He will work under the guidance of Dr. Shailendra Singh and assist him in his work.
Changes in Work Area of Officials
Apart from the appointment of the new Prant Pracharak and co-pracharak, several changes have also been made in the work area of several officials. This is a routine exercise carried out by the RSS to ensure that the workers are working in areas that are best suited to their skills.
